KEENAN FOWLER/ Guitar & Vocal:

Playing since a long time ago. Lots of fun, inspiration, perspiration, frustration, aggrivation, and determination., since the first axe under the tree in '83.

PLACES: Seems like every hole in the wall bar in SO. CAL. Good times, good friends, and cold beer. Amen.

THE NEW CD: I'm very proud of the CD. I wrote 8 of the 10 songs on it, w/ the other 2 being our versions of well known covers.
Musically, I'm stretching out on this record. There are some feels & subjects on the CD I never addressed before.

MICHAEL HARVEY/ Bass:

Mike is a bit of a mystery. Nobody knows how long he's been playing, where he comes from or what he does outside the band. Speak softly and carry a big axe....that's Mike. He let's the music do the talkin'.

PLACES: SO. CAL. shindigs.

THE NEW CD: It rocks.

Mike Harvey has been playing bass guitar for over 20 years. He began playing
in the early eighties, mostly in hard rock bands. He returned to music after
a four-year hiatus to finish college, playing bass in San Diego with the
blues-rock band Bare Bones, the alternative rock band X Factor, and
Johnny Voodoo. A believer in minimalist bass lines, his major
influences include Cliff Williams (AC/DC), Bob Daisley (Rainbow, Ozzy), Matt
Sharp (Weezer), Nate Mendel (Foo Fighters), Tommy Shannon (Stevie Ray
Vaughan), and Dusty Hill (ZZ Top).

DAVID GRANILLO/ Drums:

Playin' long enough to do it right. Rock out w/ your cock out! That's the motto for JOHNNY VOODOO, Dave's the guy who makes it happen. Always havin' fun, being cool, & playing great. That's Dave.

PLACES: Bars, backyards & bbq's all over SO.CAL. & AZ.

THE NEW CD: It's cool, I had a good time making it. I learned alot, what to do what not to do, like letting KEENAN mix the drum tracks when I'm not there. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Born May 10th in Long Beach California, Dave Granillo has been
poundin' the skins for a long-ass time. Formally trained as a concert
percussionist and jazz drummer, Dave's potential was ultimately
unleashed by the influence of loud, aggressive rock-n-roll.
"Alex Van Halen was the guy who really inspired me to just kick-ass
and take names. His raw power and speed were a huge influence on my
early drumming style."

Dave continued his music education at Arizona State
University. "Yeah, that's where I REALLY learned how to chase chicks,
drink beer and still keep meter.and not hurl behind the kit."

Eventually relocating back to his native California, Dave has become
an accomplished local musician in the San Diego area. He has spent
time giggin' and recording with local bands Zone 4, Bare Bones, Nerve
Damage and The Sockits. "The last 2 year with the Johnny Voodoo Band
has been great. Keenan can be a real ass sometimes, but he's still my
pal. Mike has this really cool collection of non-black tee shirts and
his cat stays in tip top physical condition. I just love playin' with
these guys.. They're the only one's I know who will put up with all
my bullshit".
